Propuesta de parque en el sector ladera oriente del Cerro la Virgen denominado bosque municipal para uso público, mantención y conservación

Abstract

La ciudad de Talca cuenta con áreas verdes urbanas reconocidas por sus habitantes, pero no con un parque que permita el acercamiento y la interacción con los valores paisajísticos y naturales. Un parque proporciona servicios que benefician a grupos sociales con actividades recreativas y así como la fauna que frecuenta estas unidades.Por el lado poniente de la ciudad de Talca en una ladera del Cerro La Virgen y una superficie de 72 hectáreas se determinaron con fotointerpretación tres unidades de paisaje identificadas como: A con una superficie de 23 hectáreas; B con 33 y C con 17. Estas unidades se definieron mediante tres variables topográficas pendiente, exposición y altura. Al mismo tiempo se definió el tipo fisionómico de vegetación e inventariaron las especies leñosas en 36 parcelas distribuidas aleatoriamente y de 8 metros de radio cada una. Con uso de escala y el cruce de matrices se determinaron zonas de conservación, zona de recuperación natural y zonas de uso público.La vegetación de las áreas es de tipo esclerófila y estructura mixta con mezcla de especies exóticas y organizadas como matorrales y plantaciones. La diversidad florística alcanza a 54 especies de las cuales 17 son endémicas y 19 nativas.La organización del espacio se basa en la definición de 4 zonas definidas como: 1: zona de conservación con especies nativas; 2: de recuperación natural con especies nativas e introducidas; 3: de uso público restrictivo para proteger el área colindante a la de conservación y no se pierda la cobertura vegetal y 4: uso público intensivo con senderos establecidos para los visitantes.El análisis integrado del espacio para un diseño del parque recomienda un uso dirigido con actividades de desplazamiento, descanso y observación del paisaje y fotografía.Con el resultado de la zonificación y el diseño del parque se pretende que el régimen de utilización del área sea continuo, equilibrado y dirigido. Junto con la aplicación de políticas restrictivas y direccionamiento se recomienda para los visitantes un programa instructivo y capacitación en el desarrollo de las actividades./ABSTRACT:The city of Talca account with urban green areas recognized by its inhabitants, but not with a park that will allow the rapprochement and interaction with the landscape and natural values. On the western side of the city of Talca in a slope of the hill Virgin and a surface of 72 hectares were determined with digital images three landscape units identified as: A unit of landscape with 23 hectares; B with 33 and C with 17. These units were defined using three topographic variables: slope, exposure and height and vegetation physiognomy. The woody species were inventoried with 36 plots distributed randomly and 8 meter radius each. With use of scale and the intersection of arrays were determined areas of conservation, natural recovery zone and areas of public restrictive and intensive use.The vegetation of the area is sclerophyllous and mixed structure with alien and native species and organized as scrub and plantations. The floristic diversity reaches to 54 species of which 17 are endemic and 19 native.The organization of the space is based on the definition of 4 areas as 1: conservation area with native species; 2: natural recovery with native and introduced species; 3: area of public use restrictive to protect the area adjacent to the conservation and don't miss the plant cover; 4: intensive public use with trails established by for visitors.An integrated analysis of space for a design of the park recommends a use directed with movement activities, rest and observation of the landscape and photography.With the result of the zoning and the design of the park it is intended that the scheme for the use of surface area is continuous, balanced and directed. For the achievement of the above more than together with the implementation of restrictive policies and addressing it is recommended that you hoped to have for visitors a process of an instructional program and ongoing training to in the development of the activities.
